There's 3.5 more weeks to school! That's fast for a 2-month holiday. It's a little too fast, like seriously. But, somehow i can't wait to get started for my next semester of school because of 2 reasons: -- This could well be my last semester at SIM if RMIT approve my transfer application.
- If school's on then i'll have a reason to leave work earlier (work's getting more dreaded as time goes by).
As it is, yes work sucks. Can't imagine that i'd actually enjoyed working there when i joined the first time around. Out of the 7 of us in the accounts department, 5 of us are not happy working there. Out of the 5, 2 of us are planning to run before year end and another 2 may be running too if we actually do run. Well, for the fifth one, if she can find a better paid job she'll probably run with us too. It's like a chain effect - 1 run, all run.
Am gonna hand in my application forms and transcripts on Tuesday during the mid-year enrolment. Have filled up both the campus transfer and international student application forms but have not photocopied all my transcripts. After i get all these settled and handed in, gonna really start packing up my trash room before i get all my stuff for the new semester. I actually need to buy 7 books for the coming semester for just 3 modules! It's gonna cost a bomb and it'll be real heavy!
Application for the year end mission trips are open today until the end of the month. The 2 mission trip destinations will most likely be Tuao and Wangsa Maju as usual. I'm still thinking if i should sign up though. They're recommending Tuao for secondary/JC students and the the Wangsa Maju trip for tertiary students. That means it'll be Wangsa Maju if i'm to sign up again. Maybe i'll just wait, see and hope that they'll still accept anymore applications after this month if i decide to go. I guess i'm waiting to see if my transfer application is approved first before deciding. If approve, i'll probably be planning a volunteer trip somewhere else, if it's not approved, i'll sign up for the Wangsa Maju trip then.

Results were released yesterday.Contented? Yes I am. 1 Credit, 2 Distinctions.Disappointed? A little. 0 High Distinctions. This week is probably the best week i'd had in a really really long time and could possibly be the first all year. I had been smiling my face numb the last 3 days and was on the verge of being sent to an insane asylum because Cindy thought i was nuts to be smiling and be so happy for that long of a time. The company has a whole lot of clients who are doctors and Cindy was listing out suitable doctors in her mind to send me to.Why am i so happy this week? Firstly, a whole lot of people are on leave for the ACCA exams this week and that makes the Accounts department very quiet and i'm the sole regular for the whole week.Secondly, before i left for my exam break, i was doing the accounts for this company - TMI Incorporated Pte Ltd for the year 2007. One thing that i really hated about this company was that the director's a pervert. He likes to sweet talk (in a disgusting way) and only likes to talk to the girls and not happy when a guy takes over his accounts. What made it more disgusting is that he is not some young man, but an old ugly uncle. It was really uncomfortable dealing with him, and so was Bani as she's doing his tax. When i came back from exam break, i was supposed to continue to do the 2008 accounts. I told my supervisor i didn't want to deal another year of his accounts and i couldn't believe she actually didn't give it back to me. On Tuesday she gave it to the new Sri Lankan guy to do instead. Believe me, i was grinning from ear to ear for the rest of the day and for the whole of Wednesday too. Can't imagine his face when he finds out that i'm not doing his accounts anymore and his face will probably be as black as the sri lankan guy. hahaha! Bani made a couple of trips to my desk to try smack that smile off my face unsuccessfully because the smile was already engraved on my face. She was so jealous that she still had to do his tax while i'm sitting at my desk smiling my eyeballs out.And lastly, i was happy yesterday partly because of the smiling hangover from the previous two days and also because of results. No worries now about repeating any modules next semester.
