Finally collected my guitar last night and got my dad to set up the new tv in my room this morning. So, my dad removed the 14" Akira tv and set up the 29" Samsung flat screen tv (it's free from starhub 'cause my dad renewed the broadband). It's huge! I've never seen a tv this big in anyone's bedroom before (except for the master bedrooms)...and when I mean huge I mean gigantically huge!! So here's some pictures for your preview:

So, I went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End after guitar class this afternoon, it wasn't that bad...and the monkey is sooooooo cute! Lol....love it, although i find the multi Jack Sparrow scenes didnt make much sense at all. So yeah, i guess that's it.

Yay...today's Friday again! There's something that i'm real happy about and there's something that is kind of sad (but not that sad) so i guess it's all neutral.

The happy thing is that i'm gonna collect my new guitar after work today! It's a 171SF guitar and it's $677...after student discount it's $555 and it's light brown colour...unlike my first 2 guitars which is dark brownish. My parents also got a new clarinova piano for my bro and sis which will be delivered tomorrow and it cost around $6k. We are some lucky musical kids! LOL!!

The not so happy thing is that my uncle passed away this morning. That's the uncle who recently had the heart attack in March. I think my aunty wasted her money to do the bypass surgery. That time when he had the heart attack, they spent like $60k on the operation and if the hospital stay included it would be around $80k - $100k. He stayed in the hospital a few weeks and went home to find out that he was at the fourth stage (which is the final stage) of intestinial cancer and sent him back to hospital, unfortunately he died this morning. That is why i said that it was a waste of money on the bypass surgery since he was still gonna die of cancer in the end. The funny thing was that after my uncle died, my cousin and aunty fought over where to hold the wake. My cousin wanted the wake to be under the HDB block but my aunty wants it to be at the Singapore Casket and so yeah, they fought...lol.

I think i've gotta get back to work if not i can't leave early today.

It's like 4pm in the afternoon and i'm so sleepy and you have no idea how hard it is to keep myself awake. I think the only thing that's keeping me awake is the fact that it is a FRIDAY! I don't know why but i seem to be the happiest person in the office on Fridays, i guess it could be the weekends. A few things did take place the last few days....so since Tuesday was the same old boring Tuesday....I'll just start with Wednesday.

I'll just keep it short and simple. I GOT MY LETTER OF OFFER FROM SIM ON WEDNESDAY EVENING!! I didn't get the advance standing but getting a place in the Accountancy course awarded by RMIT University was good enough. So it's 3.5 years and its around $31,000 + (including GST) for the whole 3.5 years there which i think it's quite reasonable. I'm quite alright with it but the thing is that it's all the way in clementi and i'm only doing full time for the first two semesters and part time for the last five semesters. It's like why can't they have full time for the whole course? But then, i think i'll just do the first two semesters full time, 3 semesters part time and the last two semesters i'm gonna transfer all my courses to the RMIT University and go to Melbourne for my final year.

Then yesterday afternoon, i found out that there were 2 time slots available in the evening to take my e-trial btt before i take my actual test and so i booked both slots, which is the 7.15pm-8.05pm slot and the 8.15 to 9.05 slot. So after work i made my way down to the driving centre again and spent 2 hours there doing the trial tests. I kept doing the 6 tests over and over again til i made sure that i pass all of them and then i left. So got back around 10pm just in time to catch the American Idol results show. I can't believe that Melinda was voted off, so i think that Jordin's gonna win. I think blake should be out, although i think the songs he does are different and very original, he adds beat boxing to almost all his songs which i think sounds horrible with some of them. So i say Jordin's gonna win.

I'm having my BTT test tonight at 8pm, i'm praying hard that i'll pass. I need to get 90% to pass and means i only can get 5 questions at the most wrong! If i fail then i've gotta pay another $6 to re-take and i'll have to wait until July for the next available slot...this is just crap.

Ya...i think this is it and gotta finish up all my work 'cause it's another hour + before it's go home time!

I was so happy that it was Friday and i just can't believe that it's Monday again!! It has been like a long weekend the past 2 days.

On Friday around 9+pm attended my great uncle's wake at Ang Mo Kio, then sent my grandpa home in Marine Parade around 11.30pm and then reached home around 12mn. On Saturday since i had no guitar class, i woke up at around 10am. It's been a long time since i can wake up that late. Around 12.30pm my dad sent me to Joanne's house in Pasir Panjang and stayed there til around 2.15pm to go to the driving school for the btt e-trial test. I took a bus to Vivocity but didn't have time to take a train down, so i took a cab from Vivocity instead. It took me like at least 10min to find the exit to the taxi stand and i got the limousine cab when it was my turn...lol. But then, i was still 15 min late when i reached, so i decided not to go for the e-trial test. I walked around for a few minutes then i went to take the bus back to Eunos MRT and went to Tampines to collect the Spiderman 3 tickets. After that went to walk around and wait for my bro, YX and Cyril.
The movie was quite nice except that the ending was quite lame. So went back whitesands BK for dinner, went to the park playground to play then went back.

Yesterday morning was my great uncle's funeral, so we went for the church evening worship instead of the morning 1. My bro and i didn't want to attend the funeral, so we got to wake up a little later. I had another e-trial test at 3.15pm, so i went to Eunos again and i waited quite long for the bus and it was like 5 min to 3pm so i kind of got a little impatient and went out to the main road to take a cab....again. Managed to reach in time and only got to finished 3 tests out of the 6 tests available in the 50min given. I kind of failed the first 2 tests and passed the third one. I had like 5min left and had no time to do another test, so i left. My parents picked me up at Whitesand to go to church and after that we went to eat at Marche at Vivocity. It's been ages since i last ate at Marche.

Today there's some new interns and i think probably from NTU and they're all working in the conference room since there's no more tables left for them. I guess i gotta get back to work before.....

Lunch ain't coming for another 15 min so i'll just blog the time away since i'm not intending to continue work til after lunch. There's supposed to be a dinner and movie outing tonight at Plaza Singapura with the church's young adults class but was kind of cancelled yesterday. I'm not sure when but either yesterday or a few days ago my great uncle died of heart attack (i wonder what's with heart attack these days but it's happening all too frequent) and so i guess tonight my parents bringing my bro, maybe my sis and i to the wake.

There's no guitar tomorrow, i was so happy until i realised that I've only got the morning off. I was supposed to go for the e-trial btt at the driving centre at 1.15pm and 3.15pm. Then, i decided to go for the careteam meeting at Joanne's house at 1pm, so i cancelled the 1.15pm e-trial session. So, it all starts like this....
12pm - leave for Joanne's house in Pasir Panjang
1pm - gotta reach her house
2pm - leave the house for Ubi
3pm - be seated in the computer lab
3.15pm - start of trial test
4.05pm - end of trial test
5pm - go to TM to collect the tickets for spiderman 3
5.20pm - meet my bro
up to 5.55pm - meet yx and cyril (they better not be late if not........lol)
6pm - spiderman 3
8.30pm - dinner
9.30pm - home sweet home

After that, i'm all so ready to drop down dead in bed and rise up the next morning for church. I think i'm gonna die of exhaustion soon. Ok...lunch!

Yesterday was 1 tiring day. Even though it was a public holiday, it was my cousin's wedding also. So, my mum dragged me out of bed at 6.30am to go to my uncle's house with like 1 whole bunch of uncles and aunties and the grandparents to wait for my cousin and his bride to come to serve tea. Went home around 12.30pm and since my sis, bro and i did not eat at my uncle's place, we ordered pizza. I did enjoy the pizza because it's been like months since i last had them.

Had a little rest and then went off to Raffles hotel for the ceremony and dinner. The ceremony was held at the lawn at the hotel. It was in the open air on the grass church style kind of wedding, the setting was kind of nice. After we headed up to the ballroom for dinner. The food wasn't that bad. Then they had little speeches here and there to thank this one and that one then my cousin had his little speech on stage thanking the family and later he serenade the bride and i think it kind of touched everyone at the tables and i think a lot of them cried also..lol. So it was until around 11+pm and reached home around 11.45pm and you can't imagine how sleepy i am now. So, my cousin's flying off to New Zealand this evening for his 10-day honeymoon and i was like....woah!! that's fast!!..lol.

I don't really feel like working now. 2 reasons - I'm sleepy and it's the beginning of the month and you have no idea how dreadful it is. I think i've gotta get back to work and continue my on-the-job daydreaming.
