Half of the nightmare's passed and another half still to come. It's been a horrible week, i mean it literally. So let's see how it went:
Saturday 10am-2pm -> In school to rush out Small Business executive summary due on Monday. 2pm-5pm -> Company Law lecture 5+pm-7pm-> Travel home 7pm onwards -> Stone
Sunday 9.30am-10.45am -> Chase kids around kinder class 11am-12.30pm -> Church service 1pm-9.30pm -> Lunch + do up Corporate Accounting case study report at Vivo City Starbucks + dinner
Monday 9am-5.30pm -> Work - rush GST report for the super kiasu doctor 7pm-9.45pm -> School to hand in executive summary, suppose to attend lecture too but skipped it to start with preparing for the presentation slides this coming Monday, screw the lecturer.
Tuesday 9am-5.30pm -> Rush accounts for the same kiasu doctor, fake school and left 30min earlier. 6.30pm-11.30pm -> Downtown with Yan Lin ----> MOOOOOO-VS..yay! the last before hell-on-earth 11.45pm-3.30am -> Continue with Corporate Accounting report
Wednesday 9am-5.30pm -> Continue rushing accounts for same doctor 7pm-10pm -> Last Company Law lecture before exams
...touching Thursday 12am-7am -> Last stretch of report input, editing, word cutting, formatting, printing, [dying]
Thursday 9am-5.30pm -> Finalising, supensing accounts for doctor but not fully done yet 6.45pm-10pm -> Hand in report, Corporate Accounting Lecture, dead 11.45pm -> Home Sweet Home
Friday [today] I'm not working today [yay! i deserve a rest after 2 days of no sleep]. To finish with the slides for the presentation this coming Monday. Class in the afternoon and going to Michelle's house tonight for Careteam, Aunty Hedy's cooking us dinner tonight! Excited!
Tomorrow will probably be down at Starbucks at The Cathay bright and early (for me) with everybody coming a little later to compile all the slides and write up our presentation speech. In the evening will be at Yan Lin's 21st birthday celebration, then rush home for the pot luck my mum organised at home, granny and 2 uncles will be down. I'll feel horrible if i don't come back and be present for at least part of it since my grandpa died last month and this is prob the first get-together since the funeral. Just feel that there's an obligation to be present.
Sunday after church will be at someone's house to practice the presentation. It's my sis and mum birthday that day so as usual, dad will be bringing everybody out for dinner.
I'm so broke now that i'm digging 300 bucks into my savings account this month. Gotta get a whole lot worth of vouchers for the 3 birthday girls. I'll be owing my savings around $350 when month ends. I've still got bills to pay and top-up on transportation expenses.
With all the travelling around the country - being an extreme eastie constantly travelling to the west, transport expenses shot up from around $90 to $120 this month. Sometimes i just hate living in the east when everybody else are living in the west and sometimes i can't help wondering why people always complain that they have to travel a distance so far when i'm travelling even further then they are. Remind me of this unmentionable person who always complain that travelling from Pasir Ris/Tampines to town is already so far. Look who's talking when i'm the one always travelling to Pasir Panjang and Clementi and it's twice the distance.
Somehow i can't help but feel that i'll continue to feel extremely broke even after payday on Tuesday. My minimum savings a month from the pay will continue be deposited along with the remaining 100 bucks or so going in too to slowly settle my owings to the savings, so it's almost the same as not being paid. Thank God i still have allwance from dad, but a huge portion of it will be gone to paying for guitar fees, transport, handphone and internet bills. So i guess i'll have about 50 bucks for 2 weeks before i get transport money from mum.

I'm enjoying the weekends while i still can. Tomorrow will be the start of a 15-day nightmare.
I've got 2 assignments due next week - 1 on Monday and the other on Thursday and the presentation on the following Monday (30th March). My group has barely started on the 2 to 3 page executive summary for small business which is due next Monday (this is an extra assignment to assist the lecturer during our presentation..we could have shot him in the head for making us work more) and have not even lifted a finger for the Corporate Accounting case study due next Thursday. I hope rust and termites will just destroy the assignment boxes and who cares if it burns, just anything that will delay the due dates.
Mid-terms were horrible. Kind of sitting on the fence for company law (that's usually the case for law papers - you either pass it or fail it). The 50-mark case study for Small Business and the Accountant was horrible. It was split into 2 questions - 30 marks & 20 marks. The lecturer was grinning before the paper, kind of knew it wasn't any good having seeing that uncomfortable fake grin on his face. True enough it was HORRIBLE!
Firstly, the information given in the case study was messy and secondly it was kind of hard to guage on what to write on having being asked the way the questions were asked. First thing that came into my mind was - what on earth do you expect me to write for this? Which part of the syllabus does it apply to? Answer: NOTHING! I could barely remember the contents that i'd gone through earlier after reading through the whole case study. I was like - Ok, this looks like operations management...em..what's that? Ok, this part here looks like human resource management, oh no! What were the contents under that chapter again? I could only remember the title for the topic but couldn't remember much of the contents under that. I just repeated the information that were given in the case study over and over again and just write some nonsense that came into mind. It's a 3-page repetition for the first question and i hardly had time for the second question. Only wrote 1.5 pages for a 20-mark question. I don't think i'll fail, i just know i will.
One thing's made my day today. Jun Ai's coming to Singapore in July! Travel tickets are already booked and period confirmed! Excited! I'll make sure you'll enjoy your stay here girl! *grinz*

I know you're trying, well, try harder.
Mum finally gave a solid yes to Melbourne and a loan (provided interest is included).
J. Hudson - you're my inspiration.
Milo - just shut up, you're annoying me.
Time - i need more of you.
Best friend - human position vacant, application open.

Just got back from school 5 minutes ago. I love the weather tonight. Not the rain though, but the coolness of the air. It's super cold and windy tonight and i just wish the weather could be like it is now everyday without the rain, but of course it'll only be in my dreams.
My mum sms-ed me half way back from school that if it was still raining when i reached back Pasir Ris, sms her and my dad will come pick me from there. Of course it was still raining when i reached back but the thing was that i didn't sms her. There were a whole crowd of people and army boys there waiting to be picked up and the cars were all jammed coming in for pick-ups so didn't really bother plus the weather was soooo cooling and nice that i couldn't give up the chance of walking home despite the 'not-super-heavy-but-heavy-enough-to-drench-you-in-less-than-3-min-walk' kind of rain. So, i walked home under a tiny umbrella (which wasn't of much help either) and almost got screamed at by the mother when i reached home (i was kind of a third drenched) but told her there was a jam so didn't bother getting them stuck in it and she was like - ok, fine. Haha, i love the coolness and can't get enough of it.
I've got 2 more weekdays worth of time off from work left and i just wish for more. A week's gone so fast and my next mid-term paper's on monday. It's worth 50%! I can't fail it and i will not fail it and i've really got to start burying my head in the notes and books first thing in the morning tomorrow!
Strangely, for the last 2 days i'd had the urge to quit the job and spend all my time on studying and revising. During this past week of time off from work to study for mid-terms, i'd realise i could spend more time and focus on revision and school work - something that i had been struggling real badly with for the past 2 months. Something tells me that i should quit if not i'll go mad real soon, but something else tells me that i should just continue as i've got a financial target to meet by year end if i want to escape to full time studies. I keep telling myself it's just 10 more months and it seems to be working. I need psycho-ing and pushing real bad..ppl help!

Am supposedly studying now. Was studying at changi airport earlier on and now am at downtown coffeebean. I just finished up all 5 topics of Company Law for tomorrow's test and decided to take a break before i start on textbook intensive reading/familiarisation and tutorials later tonight after i catch Marley & Me with Yan Lin in an hour. I'm glad i'd got a bulk of preparations off my shoulders and have only the familiarisation part to meet up to.
I've got the whole of this week off from work including Monday to prepare for mid-terms and i've pretty much been doing just that, except for the little 'straying off' later on to catch a movie. I seriously needed the break and i can go in a lot more peace now that i've completed all my required notes.
This is probably the toughest of semesters that i have to sit through. Not in terms of module difficulty, but more of the exhaustion of everything. I can't wait for this semester to end. I want a holiday, i need a holiday, oh no..i deserve a holiday!
