Watching Oprah now and I just love watching her show because SHE'S MY INSPIRATION and of course she always makes me smile!...and I'm not shy to admit it. Ok fine, I know I'm going mad and all thanks to school. It's not even 1 month in university and it's already starting to become insane.
After months and months of living with my spoilt chair and begging my parents to get me a new 1, they finally got me a new 1 on Saturday and it was rather unexpected, so i was kind of surprise. I watched Bourne Ultimatum on Thursday (which i had the day off from school too), it was ok, it's just like James Bond but the main Jason Bourne's much cuter and more resourceful and I think Jason Bourne will win if he ever goes 1 on 1 with James Bond.
Kirsten's going back to Texas tomorrow and I think I'm gonna miss her. It had been great having her around for the last 3 months or so, hope she comes back soon. As Kirsten's flying off tomorrow to the states, the young adults had a farewell lunch for her after church yesterday. There were 22 of us - 10 girls (we're all in the same CAREteam) and 12 guys. We went to Spizza at Harbourfront and occupied 2 rows of tables and seperated the guys and girls. We ordered like 10 large pizzas - 4 for the girls and 6 for the guys. As we were waiting for the pizzas, Kirsten sneaked off to pay for the 4 pizzas for us girls we didn't know about it, but the guys had to pay the pizzas themselves...lol! As we girls got our pizzas and finished them before the guys, we just stood up and left and all the guys had the shock look on their faces as we had left them to pay the whole bill. But Kirsten kind of explained that she had paid for us and we only found out after we walked out of Spizza..lol! After that we went to get some Ben & Jerry ice cream at vivo and some of the guys came to join us later on. The wind that day was incredibly strong and it was real nice, just like how it is in Australia. So, we went to the open space on top of Vivo to take pictures with our hair blowing everywhere - blown both back and all over our faces, lol! So ya, that was fun.
I'm having tomorrow off from school, as well as the rest of the Tuesdays for the rest of the semester. Thank God I've only a 4-day week of school and none of them are full day. I can slack a bit, but not so much as I've gotta do my tutorials and do up all my notes, revise, projects and study for tests next month and for the finals from end October to mid November. So, I guess my off day ain't that slack after reminding myself that I've got so much to cover.
Cheers y'all!

I haven't blogged like...forever, so i'll just post a quick entry today. My first 2 weeks of uni life have been totally insane. The only break i had was on National Day, which i spent at the movies by myself watching Rush Hour 3. The movie was great and it was outrageously funny.
Yesterday had my 1st local accountancy lecture, my lecturer was quite funny and interesting, so it wasn't so bad after all considering that this is at least my fourth time learning the introductory to balance sheet and income statement. After class met up with Mag & Natalie at Orchard to get some chocolates and went over to aunty Hedy's house for dinner with a few others girls and aunties from church. Got home around 11pm and i was so tired cuz i was like carrying my laptop around the whole day together with my super heavy accounting book and thick stack of notes.
Today's my off day from school, so i've practically been playing computer and doing up my accounting notes. My parents went to Japan on National Day eve for their 'annual honeymoon' and they'll be back around 1-2am later on. These 3 years they've been on holiday by themselves at least once a year. In 2005 they went on a cruise, last yr was Hong Kong, this year's Japan and i wonder what's up next year.
