EXAMS! I wonder who's the geek who ever introduced exams in the first place.1 paper down yesterday and another 2 to go next week.First paper - Commercial Law. The one i had to re-take.It was easier than the paper set last semester, but i have no idea if what i wrote was good enough for at least a pass. Mind went blank when coming to stating issues and finding cases, but at least i thought it wasn't as bad as the last time i took it. Didn't spend as much time searching the notes and textbook for cases and had more time writing.Scribbled down the answers with the most horrible handwriting you could've ever imagine like i'm going to die after the paper.FA's next, followed by CMA. Just started revising on FA and not touched on CMA yet. Just tell me i'm dead.

The world...
Was not my friend,
Is not my friend,
And
Will never be a friend.
Screw it people,
I don't give a damn.

I'm MAD. Just the thought of it gets me really infuriated.Cost Management projects results were released on Friday afternoon.7/10 (DI) for presentation. I'm fine with this, pretty much expected it to be around this or slightly lower.6.5/10 (CR) for the presentation written report. I was just ok with it, didn't really expected much. Now, this is what really got me full of ire. CASE STUDY. 10/20 JUST PASS! Come on! I slogged over 3 nights straight to get it all done and out just for a JUST PASS?!?Is this a pre-Halloween prank or what? I can already see my HD for CM flying up real high and away. This is just bull.

The daddy bought wii fit board yesterday and i couldn't be happier. I was kind of eying one for the last few months. Just when i almost gave up thinking of how i can ever afford one without doing any serious financial damages, there the opportunity stood when we walked pass the display and psycho-ed dad to buy it..wahaha!Played it for over an hour today and have not been so drenched in my own sweat for a seriously long time. The aches are already getting to me and i reckon that it'll be worse in the morning to come.Compared FA results with Louise in church this morning. His FA test mark digits are a total opposite from mine and he failed it and he still seemed so cool about it. Louise! How can?!? I'll totally freak out if i ever fail any component of FA.I couldn't finish all the law papers by today and still pushing through. Extended my own deadline to Tuesday. I'm so gonna kill myself and drown in my own sorrow if i can't finish them by then.

Starting out at the new desk wasn't as bad as I reckon it to be, but it's still dangerous to do anything around. When I get real bored I can't go into you tube anymore unless the only thing on my mind is suicide, so I'll just sit there and stone. Well, not to mention that the colleagues are trying very hard to entertain me as they walk by >.<. It sometimes gets a tit bit too irritating as people are always walking pass behind me with their shoes making a whole load of noise on the wooden floor planks and I'll end up locking myself up in the toilet to get some peace and quiet 'alone time'.Attended this dinner planned by Wen Ching, Daniel and uncle Beng Chuan for the PPCOC working young adults at Riverwalk Tandoor on Tuesday. It turned out that there were more older adults than younger ones and left us thinking if they meant 'young' and 'adults' as 2 different words. Planned to meet Melissa and Liesl after work at Clarke Quay MRT. I reached early and Melissa came not long after. Liesl was still at Jurong East with Louise so decided to call Steph. So, we decided to wait for Steph, and since Liesl and Louise weren't that far off behind Steph, we decided to wait for them too. So the 5 of us made our way down to the restaurant and they directed us to the corner 5 sits. We were like the most unsociable group [and also the youngest] and so we just sat there and chat amoung ourselves with some self-proclaim "young" adults budging in trying to talk to us. So yeah, we had fun....entertaining ourselves in that little corner of ours..haha!The Financial Accounting tasks 1 and 2 results were released on Tuesday. Scored a HD for it, we've got 18.6/20. I was kind of happy and relieved too. It was a group project and i did most of the task 2 as i had already installed the accounting software with those itchy fingers of mine, so i'd feel real bad if we didn't get at least a HD for it. So i was like THANK GOD! That is some good marks we've got there and Yun Jie & Pei Yin won't be coming after me with choppers. WAHAHAHAHA!!I'm now trying my uber best to complete all the commercial law tutorial and past year exam questions by Sunday and mass send them all to Mr Yeo for comments before he closes his email. I am hopelessly trying to motivate myself as i get distracted like *snap*. I guess i'll be flocking to the cafes to do up all the studying and revising when i'm not working...like tom. No more studying at Macs for the rest of the year, Starbucks and Coffeebean are the new study destination for this semester.

When things aren't exactly going quite your way all that often anymore, I suppose you'll just have to give it a chance or something somehow is signalling for a change. I somehow realised things these days seem so mundane. Not school though, each and every semester will bring a whole new and different phase of madness to life. Insane but somehow exciting. Dreadful but somehow you're just willing to put in the effort even if it'll kill you (or at least me).
Work is all that I’m getting at. I've been handed back jobs that I did in my 1 year of interning there. Somehow you'll just reach a point where there is just nothing else to learn anymore. There was just this one job that I really did enjoy doing as it was kind of different from the rest – I did not have to use the accounting software for it and I got to play around with the numbers quite a bit, too bad I’d never got to do it again. Apart from that, what really bothered me was that they wanted me to change work station again because there's this new auditor and there weren't any workstation around except for the one with the server right in front. As I was the ding dong gong gong part-timer there, they asked me to move to the front, where I’ll be the only one sitting there and what I do can practically be seen by the whole world. I was just thinking why they can’t ask him to use that work station instead of me moving. Transition from the comfort of the back row to that front workstation will not be easy and it'll be a breach of my privacy. I'm not a ball which can be kicked around office ok. One month I’m using this workstation, the next or 2 months later I’m using another one and the next I’ll probably be sitting on the floor polishing everybody's shoes. I didn't say anything doesn't mean I agree to the arrangement, I’m just too pissed to say anything. I doubt I’ll ever feel as comfortable sitting there compared to the back.
I've at least another 15 months that I plan to work and I have no intentions in remaining at that workstation which they claim will be my permanent workstation at the moment. I believe that everything happens for a reason and so I’m giving it a chance.
I've decided if I feel just as uncomfortable or not moved to another workstation by mid-November, I'll swing back to my intensive job hunting status after exams to find a better and more generous part time job somewhere else. New year, new job, new environment, new things to learn and probably somewhere that I rather spend my 21st birthday at.

Finally wrapped up all projects for this really tiring semester with a presentation and a report on Monday night. We've conquered all projects and we've still got the big fat ugly exams to take on at month end. I told myself not to be nervous, and if i ever did, just pray and it'll all be fine. Well, i got really really nervous about 3 hours before the presentation. I couldn't stop fidgeting in office and went on frequent 'toilet breaks' where i'll just walked 1 round in the corridor and went back to the office hopping to calm the nerves.
My colleague was like, "If you don't want to present, all you have to do is just faint here right on the spot and you don't even have to make it to school. It's better than fainting in the middle of presentation."
I was like, "Yeah right, I'm the one holding on to the report too. If i faint then i can kiss goodbye to 10% for the presentation and 10% for the report and my group mates will come after me with choppers. i can also kiss goodbye to high distinction (80%) or even just a distinction (70%) for my overall results already." (I'll seriously crash and burn if i get anything below a distinction for an accountancy paper). So, went to school slightly earlier before time to have a quick rehearsal before we went in to the LT. There were 12 groups and we were group 10 =_=". Good thing was that we weren't the first and we had ample time to observe 9 groups present and that really blew the nervousness away. The first few groups stumbled quite a bit, probably they weren't really prepared on what they were going to say. I told my group mates to give me a nudge if i was going to fast, which i have a tendency to do so if i get a tat too nervous. As expected i went like a slightly slower mo bullet train. I started off fast (not very, but it was still fast). Yun Jie whispered to me from behind to slow down. I was like..ok. I did slow down after that but started picking up speed again, and before anybody whacked me on the head for not going slower again, i'd already finish my part of the speech..hahaha! Well, at least we didn't choke up as much as some of the others.
Thank God it's a public holiday today. I can get my much deserved rest today. I slept around 4am on both Sunday and Monday night and have been a walking zombie the last 2 days.
Well, it was Milo's birthday 2 Sundays ago. I was choked up on preparing the presentation and the report for 2 whole grueling weeks that i couldn't find time to post something on that. So here it is. Went to ikea to buy the bed, cost me $125. Charged it to my savings account instead of my normal one as i was seriously running out of money. So, by month end (yesterday) i owed my savings $145 and practically threw the whole of my September's salary back into my savings account and what i had left was $28.50 of my salary to spend. Well at least i'm getting extra money from the parentals. Oh, and coming back to Milo's birthday present, i've put up some pictures below to close this post. Enjoy.
