Just came back from church camp an hour ago. It was awesome, had fun.

Strangely, the morning after my parents left i didn't feel a thing, as if they never had come to Melbourne with me in the first place. Everything just went on as usual without the slightest hint that something may be missing. God definitely works His wonders. Great I must say.

First week of school over and done with, workload just increased by a mile. I'll only get busier over the next couple of weeks.

Yesterday had a really exciting but scary experience. It suddenly rain in the afternoon, around 3-4pm. Not that raining was something new, but it was hailing too! It was bright and sunny for a moment, and next it was totally overcast, it looked like it was already 8pm. Went to look out of the window and suddenly pieces of ice started falling from the sky. Mind you, it isn't snowing, it was hailing. It wasn't snowflakes, it was ice cubes the size of pebbles came dropping from the sky. It went on for about 5 min or so before the water came pouring in and hails came dropping down once in a while. The size of the ice were not so bad at my place, heard that in other places, the ice were as big as golf balls, some even tennis balls! Some of the streets in the city (especially the main street right out round the corner of my hostel) and Flinder's Street were totally flooded up to the ankle or knee. It was that bad. The train service was actually stopped because one of the stations had it's roof damaged and water were pouring in like a waterfall, many house roofs were damaged too due to the hail. Didn't realise the amount of damage or what was going on outside til I watched the news. It was claimed to be one of the worst thunder storms and hails in Melbourne in years! A really big eye-opener it will be for me.

Yesterday evening, went to uncle Charle's house to sleep over with Judith and Kara. Left at 7am to the church camp site. Service in the morning, devotion, lunch, went down to the beach with the guys, watched the under 30s vs over 30s soccer match for an hour or so, went back to watch the guys perform their Haka New Zealand war dance which they'd just learnt an hour or 2 before running off for the soccer match. It was H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S! Ju and I were laughing so hard at them. Recorded the practice and actual performance, shall post it up on facebook soon for everybody to laugh at. After that had a presentation by these 2 American missionaries who are doing mission work up in Kenya, East Africa. Uncle Charles and Aunty Swee Lan sent us back later on. Marcus and Johnston went with Uncle Charles. Beng, Tim, Ju and I went with Aunty Swee Lan. On the way it suddenly poured. Another thunderstorm or what they call, flash flooding. It was too heavy for Aunty Swee Lan so she exited the highway and stopped at this eatery just 5 min drive from her place for dinner, and wait for the rain to stop as well. Went to her place after that to wait for Uncle Charles to come back so he can send us back instead. (She wasn't too confident driving in this condition) Of what they said, it hasn't rain this much in Melbourne for years! Apparently, Melbourne's currently under a really serious drought, so rain is pretty much needed. But whoever did expected that it'll be massive flooding and even a hail!

Aight, should get back in packing my stuff and start with school work all over again!
