Am keeping myself awake now helping Jun Ai get mentally prepared for her upcoming scholarship interview on Tuesday by bombarding her with sample interview questions and my own made up answers not even sure if they'll be good enough. So while waiting for her in-between replies through msn, decided to come write up 1 more entry before i go to bed.
1 year has passed like *snap* and i'm getting real scared of how fast time is ticking away. Come to think of it i've achieved so much more in 2008 than i did in 2007 especially in the second half of the year.
The last semester was my first ever working-study combo and it has been tough. Skipping dinners on school nights and stuff, finding strength and time to study and catch up with school work with any available time that i could spare. It was horrible going through studying for exams because there was not a lot of time incorporating studying into working schedule. All i learnt from this is to always have trust and faith which i failed quite miserably in this aspect but praise the Lord on how He carried me through exams given the little faith i had in Him and myself which i am charged as guilty. That is definitely 1 aspect that i should and will make an effort to improve on this coming semester.
This holiday didn't feel like a holiday at all, not the slightest bit. I'm even wondering where my holiday drifted off to. Even though i didn't have as much time as i would like for myself this holiday, but it was definitely a really fulfilling one. The activity that really made an impact on me is the Wangsa Maju mission trip. Even though it was only for 8 days, it was definitely a very fruitful 8 days. I made new friends, a really good friend out of the new friends, learnt a whole lot especially to be grateful for anything and everything, being humble, the achievements that i receive from stepping out of my comfort zone and so much more. I grew a whole lot spiritually and in my faith and i guess i'm not as invisible in church as i used to be anymore. I used to find going to church a routine, a way of life. But now, i realise that i'm going to church because i want to, not because i have to. It just makes so much of a difference. I'm really proud of how far i could push myself and definitely hope to strive even further for this coming year.
Hope y'all have an awesome year ahead and God bless!
