Watched Accuracy of Death yesterday. Takeshi Kaneshiro is soooo cute!!
The movie wasn't that bad, except that some parts were really slow, dry, boring and what may seem a bit ridiculous.
The show is very much about the grim reapers and more specifically about this particular grim reaper - Chiba played by Takeshi Kaneshiro. It's all about doing the job that he is assigned to, following the subject (person) assigned to him for a couple of days and decide if to "proceed" (death) or to "suspend" (life) and somehow there are this linkage in all 3 jobs he had.
What i really like about the movie is the comedic touch to it that showcase the grim reaper's "sua gu-ness" and how he sees music as "one of man's greatest inventions". Haha! Takeshi Kaneshiro's just so cute and funny acting as a sua gu grim reaper.
Somehow this movie does bring out some relevant points. The question that was kept constant throughout the show was "How do you feel about death?"
I guess most of us are too ignorant or just want to dismiss questions about death. Most of us (me included) act like there's always tomorrow to live for and never really thought on what's our take on death and more importantly what is our purpose in life and what do we actually live for.
Had my final driving lesson (hopefully) this morning. Gonna take my driving test on Saturday and feeling quite nervous about it. Am praying everything will go well during the test and that includes the traffic on the road (traffic at ubi is horrible!).
Can't really think of anything else to blog about so i'll just leave it as it is here.
