I've been sitting around quite a lot this past week hearing disaster after disaster hitting places around asia. The first - cyclone in Myanmar; the second - earthquake in China. It's like there will be a deadly disaster each year ever since tsunami and tens of thousands of people will perish with it all and how many more of them will turn to poverty. God must have a lot of wrath to exert His anger in this manner. Been thinking amidst of all these on how blessed we Singaporeans are who do not really have a real natural disaster-ing threat to us all. Sometimes i do wonder why are we all complaining about everything when there's really nothing to complain about.

A week into the holidays now, i've been wii-ing most of the time away. My sis rented a car for the past week and offered to send us around, so had a week of her chauffering us around to wherever we want to go to. I've 2 more driving lessons this week and then the big test on Saturday! Will be praying all will go well, if i have to retake it and i will be made to pay the 2nd test by myself (as threatened by the mummy) and that's $160 (that means no spending $$ for at least a whole month or 2!).

Will be going to church camp this coming June to Malacca in some 5* hotel. Kind of disappointed some of the girls aren't going, it won't be as fun without them. The bus, group and room listings are out today. Grouping wise, the youth group is still alright. At least there's Joanne whose 4 yrs older than me and was from my former careteam and Cassandra whose 2 yrs younger and in my current careteam and i'm quite comfortable around them. The problem is the room sharing. They won't put me together with my brother and put 2 other girls with me and both of them are 13 year olds!! I'm like 7 years older, i know 1 of them but don't really talk to her and i don't even know the other. Both of them are in my brother's class so am trying to squeeze out every bit of info that he knows about them if not i'm gonna have a terrible time sharing rooms and taking care of them. Gah!
