Just received the ukulele on Wednesday. Kind of surprised to receive it so fast considering that i'd just confirm and paid for it just 5 days earlier and it is all the way from America! It's only 21 inches and the length of it is the length of only the body of the guitar, that's how small it is! I guess they were right when they said that it's addictive. It's light, small, cute and i loveee playing it!
Friday was the official start of my exams agony. First paper was Business Statistics. I failed the mid semester test for this paper and had to do well for the final paper to pass it. I'm not really sure if i'd done well enough to clear it though. The paper comprised of MCQ questions which took 50% and 5 short answer quesions which took the other 50%. MCQ was quite tricky, but i think it was just alright. The short question part was quite a disaster. The first 2 questions were ok, 3rd was so-so, 4th was a disaster as i forgot how to do it and had to skip 1/2 of it due to time constraint and crapped through the 5th. I'm praying and hoping that i'd done enough to clear it *fingers cross*.
Yesterday was my dad's birthday, went to Copthorne Grand Hotel buffet for dinner. Lately, Miramar, Copthorne Grand (and Orchard i think) buffet have been a regular for my parents and have been going there quite a lot the past 2 years. I think i am or will be getting tired of it after a few more trips there.
This morning went to observe the Kinder Kids Bible Class as proposed by Hwee Yee to help make up my mind if i wanna assist the class in the later part of the year. The kids are so cute! When i reached, they were putting together a donkey and colouring them. After that they had a lesson by aunty Mei Yin. She brought some food like onion, leek, mint leaf, cinamon and some other food stuff that were used as food during the bible time. The food were passed around as the kids wanted to smell them and the whole classroom was filled with 'eeeuuuuu!!', 'yucks!!!', 'niceee!!', their expressions were so cute! After that Hwee Yee led the kiddy songs and everybody were just singing and dancing along, it was great fun. After that helped the kids with their worksheets. They were all calling at the same time and was going around pointing this is this and that is that and rushed off to the next kid..haha! It was so much more fun and 'colourful' compared to the young adults bible class where there's just a short lesson and group discussion. So maybe i'll accept the assistance for the later part of the year. :D
