It'd been some time since i'd posted something so just post 1 now since i'm free. Getting used to school again after what might seem like a pretty fulfilling holiday. Kind of falling back on tutorials already. Only did 1 set of tutorials in the accountancy paper 'cause we need to hand it in. It's counted 12% of finals so i have to do it if i don't want to kiss a potential high distinction or even just a distinction goodbye. Got to start catching up with the rest of the tutorials for the other papers too.
There's no projects for this semester but there's 5 mid-semester tests. Projects will really start falling in from next semester onwards and it will be crazy. Not really enjoying the Management Accounting module this semester, i'd prefer Financial Accounting but have to do it since i'm majoring in Accountancy. Looking forward to doing FA next sem. My favourite module this semester is most likely the law subject, kind of interesting exploring the different court cases. Thinking of doing law after this, but there's still a long way, might loose interest, so who knows...
31st January was Yu Wen's birthday, as usual the girls bought her a slice of cake for her as like they did on mine. Just got the pictures from Yun Jie minutes ago so posting one up right now: -
The cake and usAfter class went back to my ex-office and wait for the girls to end work, reached at 6pm sharp so didn't have to wait that long. Had dinner with them at Outback Steakhouse at Millenia Walk as it was 1 of my ex-colleagues birthday and also celebrating my late birthday and another ex-colleague's birthday too as we're all born in January. It was fun. The food was quite expensive, but it was quite good actually. The cheapest main course is like $19.90 and goes all the way up to the mid $30s. It's good in a way like if you take chicken breast meat, you'll expect it to be kind of dry, but it's really tender and juicy and it was FANTABULOUS! The fish was pretty good too. Ordered quite a bit of side dishes too and it was good. The cheesy fries and mushrooms were actually quite delicious. Brought my camera and went on snapping away through the night..haha! Posted 2 of them: -

So yeah, that was pretty much it the last two weeks. Apart from these two 'events' everyday's kind of the same - school. Chinese New Year's just around the corner and I don't think i've bought enought new year clothes, but at least i've got a few pieces. After this morning's lecture, I'll be having 10 days break from school...yay! Reason being that i don't have lectures on Monday and Tuesday, Wed is New Year eve, Thurs, Fri and Sat New Year days, following Mon and Tues no lectures, so my next lecture is 2 Wednesdays from now..lol! Gonna slack my way through, probably gonna catch up on tutorials or so.
Well, so i guess i'll just leave it as it is for now and come back posting after Chinese New Year when I'll have something to post about. Cheers!
