Exams are finally over today and you have no idea how glad and relieved i am. It has been a gruelling 3 weeks of exams which feels like an entire 1 year. Well, considering the 1 week before when i had to rush out my database assignment, it has been a very gruelling 4 weeks! Now it's the time when i'll be dreading the day the results will be released on 5th Dec. Have to go back on the 6th Dec for enrolment for the next 2 semesters and those who have failed 2 or more papers have to go for a student progress interview with the RMIT university academic staff (scary!).
So, I'm just gonna predict my chance of passing - Accounting (ACCT 2060) ----------- 90-10 chance pass Business Computing (ISYS 2059) - 60-40 chance pass Macroeconomics (ECON 1016) ---- 20-80 chance pass (if must pass final paper) ------------------------------------------ 45-55 chance pass (if counted as 50% overall) Marketing (MKTG 1199) ------------ 60-40 chance pass
(Crossing my fingers tight and praying hard i'll pass them all!)
Ok, enough of exam crap. The thought of the day that results will be out approaching in a mere 3 weeks is already giving me the chills. I'll be starting my 1st driving practical lesson on Monday and i'm quite nervous actually. I've yet to get my provisional driving licence (PDL) so probably gotta go down to the driving school tomorrow morning to apply for 1. Tried asking at post office just now, but too bad they only do renewals so gotta go down tomorrow since it's already too late and the Traffic Police office closes at 5.30pm today (slackers!). Thought of getting it on Monday before i start lesson, but the office only opens at 8.30am and my driving starts at that exact same time -_-"...pathetic it is. Gotta make an extra trip down to ubi tomorrow, it's been like 5 mths since i've been there. The last time was on 18th May when i went to sit for my basic theory test (BTT).
Can't wait for the winter trip next month to Korea, will be spending around 1 to 2 nights at a skiing resort, it looks fun and i think i'm gonna have a blast. Bought winter clothes already except for shoes and bag. All the winter wear for all 5 of us came up to a whoapping $3,000!
Around 2 weeks ago went browsing at the CD store, I got this CD called RyanDan. Amazing it is that i still could squeeze some time out to go movie and music shopping during exam period! I had no idea who they were and why i got it, but i just did. Saw it off the shelf and it looked kind of intesting. They're basically identical twins from Canada. It's good for people who aren't too much into loud music - as in rock and metal music. It's more of a classical-pop kind of thing. It's real cool because both of them have a really wide vocal range - they can sing from baritone up to soprano and it sounds so effortless, if only i had half their talent i'll be singing my life away (ok i'll just shut up 'bout that). Here's 1 of the few tracks that i like on the album, got it from you tube.
