Just had an awfully insane week. I'm like that close to suffering a sleep deficiency syndrome, like come on, give me a break!
Had to rush through the spreadsheet assignment over last weekend to meet the dateline on Monday. Was only taught how and what to do to attain the high distinction level on Thursday afternoon, so on top of everything done, we still had to write a report and do a webpage, print every single thing and workings out and bind them, had more than 60 pages in all. The assignment was supposed to be due on Saturday, but since we were only taught on Thursday afternoon, Dr Sim was kind enough to extend it til Monday 6pm. Since had to go to sch for lessons on Friday, meeting up with the group on Saturday for the marketing project and church on Sunday, the only time i had to doing the assignment was at night. So practically from Thursday to Monday had only 2 hrs of sleep a day and you have no idea how tired i was.
Had the mid-semester marketing test yesterday. Since i finally handed in my assignment on Monday, I spent Tuesday relaxing as i had the day off, went to watch Balls of Fury too, it was hilarious. Then, the over-night slogging came back again. Had to study for the marketing test on Wednesday and Thursday nights as the day time was spent going to class. This test counts for 20% of our overall marks and it's a 30 true/false questions. It's really hard to score as we gain 1 mark for a correct answer and 1/2 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer, so had to get 20 correct to pass it. Then came the test yesterday, i was only sure of 16 of them, so assuming i get the other 14 wrong, i'll only get 9/30 and that's scary! Hopefully i get some of those that i'm unsure of correct and enough for me to pass it *cross fingers*.
Spent almost the whole day at school today. Although there were no lessons today, had to go back to meet up with the marketing group to do the project. The marketing project is due this coming Friday, so we're a bit in a rush to complete it. It's only 85% done and there's still a whole portion to be done. I left around 10.30am, reached school around 12pm, did the project til around 6+pm and reached home at almost 8pm. Was quite tired, but...what to do?
There's of course some good stuff apart from all the retarded things that happened this week. The results from the mid-semester test for accounting and macroeconomy were released in the student portal. I had high distinction (HD) for both subjects. I was alright with the accounting grade, had expected more of a distinction (DI) but was hopping for a HD, so i got it and was happy about it. The best was the econs paper. I had expected a grade no more than DI, but i had a HD. I was super ecstatic about the grades, so much so that i couldn't stop flashing my results to everybody in the house and going back to the portal every now and then to make sure that i did not see it wrongly.
This coming week will be the last lecture for 3 of the courses - accounting, econs and marketing. The last lecture for computing will be 1 week later. So after the 12th Oct i'll be having more time and will be spending most of it preparing for the exams and finish up my final database assignment.
So yeah, will be quite busy the next couple of weeks. Marketing project's due on Friday, computing database assignment due 3 Mondays from now on the 22nd Oct and my 1st exam paper's 3 days later on the 25th Oct. So i guess it will be another few more weeks of sleepless nights. Had book driving lessons after exams, booked 10 lessons over 3 weeks, so after exam hopefully will be enjoying driving lessons.
