It's passed midnight, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!! There's sure things to celebrate and some things not. Firstly, it's Singapore's 41st birthday and this country is getting old. As usual there'll be celebrations and all but who cares anyway, at least i don't. All the celebrations seem to be similar every year, so i guess it won't be much of a difference except that this is the last year that the celebrations will be held at the national stadium before it gets pulled down. I just wonder why they have to pull down the national stadium when there's nothing wrong with it..i guess the government's feeling too rich so they can spend tax payers' money in any way they like. Some other things that are worth being happy about is that my sister broke up with that useless boy last week. I know i sound like i'm very bad and i know she's all heartbroken and all but i think that she's better off without him because he's useless and disrespectful. I hope she finds someone that is more than 10 times better than him and hopefully she'll start coming back to attend church soon. There are definetely things that are not worth celebrating about. Like i'll be starting work on Monday and who the hell celebrates the day that they start work and that they'll all be cramped up in the office the whole day. Another is that i'll be getting my exam results on 21st August which is next Monday and i'm praying hard that i'll be able to pass all my papers, but if i don't, i'd know why (probably not studied hard enough..haha) and so it'll be happy waiting til December for the next exam sitting. There's probably a whole load of other things not to celebrate and the list will just go on..like most of you guys are having exams coming soon right, only retards and nerds will throw a pre-exam party and celebrate like they're super sure that they'll be top of the class. So, now i'll just come back to reality. Yesterday went to watch Click, the movie wasn't very funny but it was still funny. I want to watch The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift but i just can't squeeze in a slot in the next few days before i start work. I guess if i've got nothing to do on Thursday i'll probably go and watch, but i think it's almost not likely. The prices for the next few days will be insane due to weekend and public holiday super ex prices.Earlier today went to town to meet Yuan Yuan. She look so different now, she curled her hair, cut her fringe and dyed it to light brown or more like golden-brown. She looked abit like Ah-Lian type but it's not so bad and she's still as nice as ever. Met her cause she needs somebody to buy some facial stuff. I wasn't quite keen to buy, but i pity her as she couldn't find anybody that was willing to buy, so i went. It was like 100 bucks in all and Yuan Yuan actually spent more than $300!! So oh well, that $100 really burnt my heart out but i'm starting work next week and i guess i'll earn more than that amount back in no time. So i guess i'll be getting my free tour of the office i'll be working at conducted by Aunty Hedy either on Thursday or Friday. I'll have to get myself ready for work over the weekends - new office clothes, shoes and most probably a hair cut.So again..HAPPY 41st BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE AND HAPPY NATIONAL DAY PPL!! Goodnight.
