Tried studying this morning, but i just wasn't in the mood and so just couldn't concentrate. So, in the end i went out for lunch and went to catch a movie alone. I didn't bother asking around because everybody'll be either too lazy or too busy, if not is no money.

I went to watch Eight Below. This movie is about this 8 dogs - a mixture of 2 Alaskan Malamute and 6 Siberian Huskies and their owner Jerry, who is a guide based in Antarctica. There was this Scientist was on a mission to find a type of stone that dropped from planet mercury and got Jerry to guide him on the expedition that required the help of the dogs. Halfway through there was a big snow storm and they had to return. When returning, the scientist fell and broke his leg and Jerry had frost bites on his fingers but the dogs managed to get them back to base camp. Since the storm was so bad, everybody had to evacuate but the dogs had to be left behind because there wasn't enough space on the helicopter and Jerry promised that he'll be back to save them. After treatment at the hospital, Jerry couldn't get back to save them because the army didn't allow him to use the helicopters and had no choice but to return to US, but it didn't stop him from trying to find a transport back to save the dogs. After 4 days waiting for Jerry, the dogs got hungry so they broke loose from the chain to hunt for birds, all except 1 - Old Jack (1 of Jerry's lead and fav dog) stayed chained because he believed that Jerry would show up soon and i guess he died of hunger. So the dogs stayed together as a pack, but 1 of em died cuz it lost it's footing when part of the snow fell off and it kind of rolled down the slope quite a distance and the rest of the dog ran down to see how it was but it was too injured to even get up so it slept and never got up again (that was so heartbreaking). After almost 6 months out, Jerry finally got a transport in New Zealand with the help of the scientist. Basically the scientist helped because the dogs once saved him and his son regarded them as heros who saved his dad and the scientist found that he still had some money from his allowance, so he got a helicopter to get them there to save the dogs. So it was kind of a happy and sad ending because the dogs were saved but 2 of the dogs died.

So after the movie i went to buy a present for my dad because it's his birthday on Wednesday. After that, i went home and it was raining donkeys and ponies.
Hmmm, so next time i'm gonna get myself a big house, probably close to my dream house and get 6 dogs!! - 2 silky terriers (incl milo if he's still alive and his wife), 2 golden retrievers and 2 siberian huskies or alaskan malamute..lol. I think i better go start revising form exams before it gets too late to even die for it..lol.
